In Hong Kong this weekend - the Aberdeen Boat Club's Opening Regatta, sponsored by Sunseeker Asia. It used to be just one race, but now it's three to count over two days (so maybe they've been reading my dictionary, which defines 'regatta' as "a sporting event consisting of a series of boat or yacht races").

Richard Branson has borrowed Speedboat and re-named it Virgin Money, and is about to have a crack at the Transatlantic record. It's been big and bouncy at the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup (Porto Cervo, Sardinia) - take a look at Ingrid Abery's pics. And then check out Gilles Martin-Raget's snaps of the new BMW Oracle AC challenge trimaran. Gosh. And Gitana 13 is more than half way along the Tea Route (Hong Kong to to London).

Enjoy the weekend, and get out on the water!
