Interest packed! That's the best way to describe this week's Powerboat-World news collection.

Whichever direction your boating interest takes you, we've got it covered, from offshore racing around Britain, round the World, to Melbourne Boat Show news and some early pictures of new boats scheduled for the Sydney International Boat Show.

This week stay with Powerboat-World as Kiwi Pete Bethune is set to smash the Round the World record on Earthrace- that's probably going to happen this weekend.

She is still 2,500 miles from the finish line and yesterday she lost port engine power, but news overnight from the boat, says they replaced a fuel lift pump, while in the middle of the Red Sea and they are back to full speed.
