Asian Regattas Offer Hot Racing Competition

The Raja Muda, November 14 - 22 is a series of passage races from Port Klang, on the coast near Kuala Lumpur, to Langkawi via Pangkor and Penang followed by some racing around the buoys out of the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club. The regatta is endorsed by the Royal Ocean Racing Club and this is reflected in the quality of the entries from Hong Kong and Singapore.... [more]

China wins Asia's biggest boating awards

Qingdao was named Asia's Maritime Capital at the fourth edition of the Christofle Asia Boating Awards, held at Le Royal Meridien in Shanghai last night. This is the first time a Chinese city has been awarded such a sought-after accolade. Victory for Clipper Uniquely Singapore in Race 8

Uniquely Singapore, steals line honours from Nova Scotia, crossing the finish line at 12:16 GMT Wednesday morning at the end of Race 8 from Hawaii to Santa Cruz in the Clipper 07-08 Round the World Yacht Race. Rick Tomlinson Photography was established in 1986 at the conclusion of the 1985-86 Whitbread Round the World Race. 2008 Star World Championships – The Winners

Olin Stephens 100 years old - a few designs
