Back from the States
Home again, after 34-hours travel time from the US of A, not pleasant, but worth every minute to have attended the 2007 Regal Marine Industries International Dealer Conference.
One of the best conducted conferences of its type I’ve yet attended and to Regal Marine Industries its management and hard-working staff, I can only offer the highest compliments.
Back on earth now we have news from the Qatar Grand Prix and at the other end of the powerboating sport, you can win an Air Nautique Wakeboarding Protour DVD.
At a slower pace, our Cruising Editor Nancy Knudsen has been in search of Nesting Turtles on the North Queensland coast
Up north again, and Marine Queensland is already planning ahead for the 2008 Gold Coast Boat Show.
Its first effort was an excellent one and only some dreadful weather, heat, humidity and one horrendous thunderstorm hampered it.
Also, the Gold Coast Marine Industry Association (as it was) has followed the leader and adopted a name change to fall into line with Marine Queensland. It is now Marine Gold Coast, a pretty sensible move, I’d say
You know its summer when the Whitworth catalogue arrives. If you did not get one, hustle down to your nearest Whitworth’s store. Then you can put yellow Post-It notes on what you want for Christmas and leave in on the kitchen bench. Job Done.
Later today, courtesy of Peter Scott and Boating Business we will take a close look at the Mustang Marine situation. Perhaps all was not as it originally seemed? Peter’s piece is a read worth digesting. Click back this afternoon to see it.

All over the country people are sitting at their desks dreaming of summer holidays and fishing trips.
