10 Aug 2007

A very successful Sydney International Boat Show has just finished, with smiles on the faces of visitors and exhibitors alike.

A high quality audience, squarely in the buying demographic translated into good sales.

The Powerboat-World Team was proud of the attendances at the Better Boating Workshops and we’d like to thank all the Boating industry figures, who gave so graciously of their time to help us to excite interest in all aspects of boating.

We were pleased to welcome Australia’s Water-ski Champions to the Boating Stage and they like Stephen Milne from Riviera used the opportunity to refine a positive boating message for the wider boating community. We look forward to improving the Boating stage presentations again in 2008 and look forward to hearing your feed-back.

Good news during the Show that the Class One offshore Powerboats will run a demonstration event on Sydney Harbour in March 2008, ahead of a round of the World Championships from 2009. A lot of behind the scenes work from the Maritimo Racing Team's Ann-Marie Clark to make this happen.

Lots of interesting stories today, make sure you read ‘A Charmed Life”

We will bring you more about the upcoming Brisbane International Boat Show next week.
