Golden Gate YC letter to Societe Nautique de Geneve BMW Oracle Racing http://bmworacleracing.com

Some new twists and turns on the America's Cup scene could see the legal impasse bought to an end.

The latest ruling by the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division has effectively disbarred Golden Gate Yacht Club as a Challenger of Record, and the requirement for them to submit their Customs House Registry certificate to the Defender, Alinghi, as required by the Deed of Gift.

Golden Gate has offered to drop the current lawsuit if Alinghi and their parties agree to run a multi-challenger America's Cup along the lines of the 32nd America's Cup (ie with a separate Defender and Challenger series culminating in an America's Cup Match.
