New trans-oceanic web coverage for Auckland Fiji Race from PredictWind

With the Auckland Fiji Race start now delayed until Sunday you will still be able follow progress aboard Simon Hull's ORMA60 trimaran TVS - and keep your feet dry - thanks to PredictWind. Click on the link below to see a live tracker complete with camera and weather instruments.

The tracker, records boat speed and wind speed in real time, shows where the boat is on a map, and shoots and displays a photograph every 60 seconds. It is the newest development in the coverage of trans-oceanic yacht racing from www.predictwind.com!PredictWind.com,the brain child of top America’s Cup weather expert, Jon Bilger.

The race starts at noon on Sunday 5 June, NZT, in the meantime you can see some time-lapse shots from TVS as she is tied up in her berth in Auckland's Viaduct Harbour.
