Thunderstorms and rain squalls meant no racing for either the men’s and women’s gold fleet on day four of the 2015 49er and 49erFX World Championships on now in Argentina.
The official report says, “Racing was called for the day at about 2:30pm and will resume with Gold fleet starting the day tomorrow morning at 10am.”
With no racing possible for the front runners it means that Peter Burling and Blair Tuke carry their 17 point leading margin into the penultimate day of the title deciding regatta.
There is also no change in the standings for Alexandra Maloney and Molly Meech over in the women’s 49erFX division and they head into day five lying ninth overall.
