America's Cup commentator Jack Griffin has initiated a project using the Kickstarter funding model to produce an e-book on the 34th America's Cup.

We are constantly receiving request from people for DVD and the like from the 34th America's Cup - now is your chance to make it happen. You pledge from $5 upwards doesn't get uplifted until the initial finding target is reached.

Your pledge counts double - now through Friday

Only 3 days left to hit the pledge target on Kickstarter but we can make it!

My Kickstarter project to fund a multimedia eBook on AC34 has received a "matching pledge challenge" from a major donor. There are 3 days left in the campaign, and all pledges up to $3,000 total will be matched.

If you have already pledged - Thank you! If you can pledge an additional amount, that is great, and your new pledge will be matched!

Please send the project link to your friends, post it on Facebook and G+, Tweet it...

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jackgriffin/comeback-2013-americas-cup-showdown-in-san-francis

100 people have pledged, including...
  • Bob Fisher - leading AC historian, author of "An Absorbing Interest"
  • Andy Green - ACTV commentator and AC sailor
  • Richard Gladwell - noted New Zealand sailing expert and web-based journalist
  • Cam Lewis - won 1988 AC as crew on winning cat "Stars & Stripes"
  • Three AC72 designers
  • New sailing fans
  • Experienced sailors
Kickstarter is an "all or nothing" proposition: the project must reach its funding goal of $17,000 by December 20, or all pledges are cancelled and the project gets no money.

My multimedia eBook will have marked up videos and photos plus clear descriptions to help you enjoy the racing from the 2013 America's Cup and to be a real expert for the next AC.

Please look at the short video about the project and visit the
project page on Kickstarter. I hope you'll make a pledge to help me publish the eBook.

Please forward the Kickstarter link to your friends. Tweet it and share it on Facebook, Google+ and other sites. Thanks!
