Takacat is now the official supplier to the CBE Safe Boating Programme Greg Sowden
Coastguard Boating Education is pleased to announce a new alliance with Takacat as an official supplier to the CBE Safe Boating Programme.
The Takacat 240 Sport Inflatable boats will be used for training at many of the aquatic centres where the Safe Boating programme is held.
Takacat Director Greg Sowden says that Takacat is focused on providing quality and innovative inflatable catamarans which offer the key attributes of safety, stability and speed with great versatility.
CBE General Manager Neil Murray says 'The customised Takacat boats used in the Safe Boating programme are ideal. They’re quick to inflate and feature a rugged design with an inflatable floor (so no slats required). The modified version has been purpose-designed for the task, with all hard objects removed from the tubes, so that the many hundreds of kids that go through the programme at each aquatic centre can clamber aboard from the water easily and safely.'
