Southern Spars will be exhibiting on stand 01.108 at METS and its incorporated SuperYacht Pavilion 2012.

METS is the world's largest exhibition of equipment, materials and systems for the international marine leisure industry. This year the show celebrates its 25th anniversary!

METS/SYP 2012 will be held on 13-14-15 November in the Amsterdam RAI Convention Centre in the Netherlands.

The Southern Spars team is set to bring their passion, design, technology and performance to METS 2012. Southern Spars' sales and marketing team will be on-hand for any inquiries about Southern Spars products and services; from the new and now proven-in-competition TPT technology to EC6 composite rigging.

North Sails and Southern Spars delivered the first of a kind collaboration out of its manufacturing base in Sri Lanka. A TP52 lost a Southern Spars carbon jockey pole in the 2005 TransPac, here's the remarkable story of what happened next In 2005, Hamish Purdy participated in the Transpac on the TP52 Braveheart. About 250 miles from Honolulu, during a night time gybe, the jockey pole was lost overboard. Hamish was standing beside the mast and saw it go over the side.
