CSpar/Paragon continue with production of alt-Laser composite spars
The CSpar / Paragon Composite continue to produce Laser compatible composite top sections The CSpar / Paragon Composite joint venture are continuing to develop and produce their Composite Topmast section that can be used in the Laser class for fun sailing, training and unofficial racing. The CSpar/Paragon top and bottom section spars have been available for four years for the class.

But when Ron Watson wasn’t available he was able to call on a veteran of seven America’s Cups and five round the world yacht races. The alternative also happened to be his son.

Sailing World Cup Hyères –Day 2– Zegers and van Veen show how its done
Afrodite Zegers and Anneloes van Veen were unstoppable on day two, winning both Women's 470 races in convincing style Out of the 534 competitors from 52 nations racing across ten Olympic events, Open Kiteboarding and 2.4 Norlin OD, the Dutch team were the standout performers.

Maiden comes home to HYS
Maiden made history as the first all-female crew to race around the globe in the Whitbread Round the World Race. 27 years later, Maiden has returned home to HYS and it was fitting that Dave Newsome and Jon Read were the crew to lift her out, after launching her almost three decades ago.
