The crew of Wild Rose was presented with the George Adams Tattersall's Cup as overall winners under the IRC handicap in a dockside presentation here in Hobart this afternoon.
The International Jury, charged with assessing the claims for redress from the seven yachts that diverted from the race to assist in the search for the downed light plane yesterday afternoon, gave each yacht a one hour forty-five minutes reduction of their elapsed time.
That was however not sufficient time to threaten the result for the Wild Rose team, confirmed by the race officials at lunchtime today.
With the retirement of Landfall (mainsail damage) as the only yacht left at sea this afternoon, the last of the fleet is now berthed in Constitution Dock.
Crosbie Lorimer captured these images of Wild Rose's arrival just before dark last night and the trophy presentation this afternoon.
