McConaghy built the Audi sailing team powered by All4One TP52 in 62 days (under nine weeks) - the fastest build in the class history. Now the same TP52 is the fastest boat on the water, beating the fiercely competitive TP52 Audi MedCup fleet in the Region of Sardinia Trophy and winning the event by a commanding nine points. In a remarkable achievement for Skipper Jochen Schumann, Sebastien Col and crew, the latest Judel/Vrolijk design won three of the nine races, including the challenging twenty five mile coastal race in a 25 knot Mistral.

McConaghy Managing Director Jono Morris was delighted at the news, 'The TP52 Audi Med Cup is arguably the most competitive fleet racing there is - so this is a fantastic result for the team to win by such a margin at this level. The key point for Jochen was he knew we would build a highly competitive boat, on schedule, in a tight time-frame without compromising on finish and quality - in fact the Audi sailing team powered by All4One TP52 was built in record time here in Sydney and delivered one full day ahead of schedule and under target weight! All this comes down to confidence; confidence from owners, project managers and designers that we build light, strong and fast boats, on schedule and with an immaculate finish quality. Congratulations to Jochen and his team from all the McConaghy team!

See McConaghy Boats at Sydney International Boat Show from 28th July to 1st August at Stand 125.
