Marine Queensland shoulders boating safety and compliance

Don Jones, CEO of Marine Queensland launches Safe Boating Guide for Queensland boaties, and tells us what's new for this year's Brisbane Boat Show.

One of Marine Queensland's objectives is to support and promote boating safety in the state which has one of the country's highest boat registrations and enviable marine lifestyle.

'The Newman government isn't publishing safety guides, so the industry has taken on this role.' As Jones explains: the guide is a practical, visual reference that is just as suitable for people sitting for their boating license as those who want to update their knowledge.

The current edition is available from dealers and Marine Queensland.
