Doyle Sails are inviting applications for a Scholarship for the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron Lion Foundation Youth Training Programme

Applications are open to sailors from throughout New Zealand wanting to join the RNZYS Lion Foundation Youth Training Programme for the first time, in line with the RNZYS application process.

The Doyle Sails Scholarship will cover the successful NEW applicant’s fees for the 2016-2017 season of the Youth Training Programme.

Candidates must be between 15 and 23 years old, must demonstrate previous yachting experience and portray a genuine commitment to intensive keelboat training. Each applicant is considered on merit from information supplied with the application and then at an interview with the RNZYS coaching staff.

In return the plan would be for them to become part of the Doyle Sails family, learning from this opportunity to go on to achieve great things, involving themselves in the greater sailing and sail making communities. Interaction with Doyle Sails would range from being a brand ambassador through to making a career in the sail making and professional sailing world.

Please find below an application from which together with a CV of your sailing experience and a photo needs to be directed to Mike Sanderson emailed to info@doylesails.co.nz at Doyle Sails New Zealand

Applications must be received by 15th April 2016
