Clash of the Cove Regatta program announced

The regatta program for the Clash at The Cove to be staged on the 25-27 March 2011, has been announced:

FRIDAY – MARCH 25
Feeder race from Gulf Harbour
All keel boats and multi hulls welcome
Start: 10:00am

We suggest you start at Gulf Harbour, possibly short – handed with family, friends or a few mates and if conditions suit, drag a lure. It will make for an enjoyable, social journey.

SATURDAY – MARCH 26
Windward / leeward race
Racing class keelers.
Start: 10:00am

Island Race follows
Start: Immediately after finish of windward / leeward race

Cruising Boats – Island Race
Starts: 10:30am

Approximate finish time 4:30 pm.
This will allow sufficient time to enjoy the evening’s festivities and entertainment at the marina.

SUNDAY – MARCH 27
Windward / leeward race
Racing class keelers.
Start: 9:30am

Island Race follows
Start: Immediately after finish of windward / leeward race

Cruising Boats – Island Race
Starts: 10:00am

Approximate finish time; early afternoon so you have time to sail home or enjoy the festivities at the marina.


This is a unique marine event including may fun filled activities all rolled into one big weekend. Sail boats, power boats, boat show and evening entertainment in a fabulous setting. All keel boats, multi hulls and trailable keel boats are welcome.

REMEMBER:
• Free regatta berthage for all competing boats
• Entry: $120 flat fee
• Saturday night food and entertainment: $35pp
• Free berthage until following weekend if you want to drive home.
