Competitors on the 2015 Bay of Islands Sailing Week can expect light to moderate moderate SE winds for the second day of racing.
Predictwind shows that the breeze will be under 10kts for the morning, before swinging east or NE late in the morning/early afternoon.
The wind is predicted to increase in strength through the afternoon and evening be gusting to over 20kts mid-evening.
A period of welcome rain is forecast from late afternoon until 2200hrs
Skies are expected to be partially overcast, from mid-afternoon.
A later update from Predict showed the prospect of rain being minimal this evening, and for the winds to be only moderate on Fridat./
Most interest in the regatta is expected to centre around the A Division, which has attracted a sparkling entry of eight TP52's
