0930 - At his briefing with skippers this morning, Principal Race Officer John Craig told the teams he intends to run the full schedule of racing today - three fleet races, followed by three match races.

0835 - Check out Dean Barker talking about racing multihulls here.

0830 - First, let's start with the forecast: Northeasterly winds this morning will ease and give way to a building Northwesterly this afternoon.

At start time of 1410, the forecast is for patchy winds in the 7 to 10 knot range. But these will become more solid over the course of the afternoon, eventually building to 15-20 Northwesterlies by 1700.

Mixed outcome for Kiwi crews in key regatta
Kiwi crews came away from the 49er and Nacra17 events at La Grande Motte with mixed results Isaac McHardie and Will McKenzie won the Medal race of the 49er European championships at La Grande Motte International Regatta. The Kiwi Olympic Nacra17 crew finished 11 at the same regatta, which was also the 2024 world championships for the class.

Victories for Italy, Belgium, Uruguay and Great Britain Italian foiling stars Ruggero Tita and Caterina Banti have won their fourth Nacra 17 world title in La Grande Motte, France. It was also a great day for first-time winners of a major championship for teams from Uruguay and Belgium.
