Musto Australasia has renewed is sponsorship of the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia’s Youth Sailing Academy through their sponsorship of an Elliot 6.0m training yacht and will continue to hold the exclusive rights to provide clothing merchandise to the Club until 2016.

Established in 1965, Musto was founded by British Olympic sailor and engineer Keith Musto, who combined his sports and technical expertise to create product to withstand even the most extreme conditions. Today Musto is the world's leading sailing and country sports clothing brand, and is stocked in leading independent stores and boutiques across Australia.

Commodore Garry Linacre said 'The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia is pleased to announce that Musto Australasia has renewed its sponsorship of the CYCA Youth Sailing Academy for a further four years.

'Musto will also continue to hold the exclusive rights to provide CYCA clothing. Musto clothing is renowned throughout the sailing industry for its fabric technology which keeps sailors warm and dry whilst racing or cruising,' Commodore Linacre added.

The officially licensed 68th Sydney Hobart clothing merchandise collection featuring t-shirts, polos, hats and jackets will be available in early December for members, guests and competitors to purchase.

Musto will also continue to sponsor the Musto International Youth Match Racing regatta, which is conducted in November each year, up to and including the 2014 event.

Musto Australasia managing director Duncan Curnow said 'Musto is proud to continue its support of a program that assists young sailors to fulfill their dreams. With the eyes of the world resting upon our Olympic representatives we feel privileged to play our part in contributing to the efforts of what could well be Australian Olympians and blue water racers of the future.'
