Visitors to this year’s Rivergate International Boat Show can enjoy the beauty of the Brisbane River and a lavish morning tea.

Hosted aboard the iconic Kookaburra River Queens on October 6 – 7, the River Rhapsody Morning Tea will provide guests the chance to enjoy a morning of elegant cuisine and fashion.

Rivergate International Boat Show general manager Narelle Jensen said the morning tea will bring a touch of glamour to the weekend event.

'Guests will enjoy an elegant selection of sweet and savoury fare paying homage to the tradition and artisan of high tea,' Ms Jensen said.

'Marg K Boutique will also be showcasing some of their exclusive designer labels with a fashion parade featuring international model Lisa Seiffert.

'In addition, guests will have the opportunity to indulge in one-on-one styling sessions with experienced Marg K Boutique staff,' she concluded.

The two hour morning tea cruise will depart at 10:30am from within the Boat Show and cruise upstream towards New Farm, before returning to the show.

Rivergate International Boat Show will bring together the best that life on the water has to offer, from jet skis, power and sail boats to luxury cruisers and marine accessories. In contrast to boat shows of the past, the event will have a distinctive family friendly flavour with on-site demonstrations and information sessions fashion, market place and a sea trial area where prospective buyers can ‘try before they buy’.

The show is expected to attract more than 20,000 visitors over three spectacular Queensland spring days.

River Rhapsody morning tea tickets are $45 per adult and can be purchased at www.kookaburrariverqueens.com/special-events or call 07 3221 1300. Bookings are essential.
