Marine Queensland is hosting a series of workshops to support small business. Participants who complete the full workshop and mentoring program may be eligible to receive a nationally accredited qualification.

Dates are Thurs 19/4, Tues 24/4, Thurs 26/4, Tues 1/5, Thurs 3/5, and all workshops are held 4pm to 7pm. There are only 10 places per workshop so get in early.
The venue will be Marine Queensland offices, Gateway Office Park, Building 3, Level 2, 747 Lytton Road, Murarrie and each workshop will be conducted by Travis Windsor.
Queensland-based consultant Travis Windsor has been managing and motivating Australian businesses for more than 15 years. Travis brings a wealth of experience in management, leadership, business planning, marketing, human resources and business coaching.
Travis’ former roles include director of an import company, owner/manager of a hair salon, manager of a job network agency and he managed a gym where he also worked as a personal trainer. His interest in educating others saw Travis appointed to a teaching role at Wodonga TAFE and Lecturing at Latrobe University.
Travis provides advice to managers and business owners about effectively creating and implementing business plans, operational reviews, marketing strategies and OH & S plans. He holds several professional business qualifications including a Masters in Business Administration in Global Trade Management and a Bachelor of Business in Enterprise Development.
Cost is $350 for 5 workshops and includes 3 hours one-on-one business mentoring, 15 hours workshop, 3 hours ongoing mentoring support, afternoon tea and networking opportunities.
