Magnetic Attraction – Australia’s Sunferries Magnetic Island Race Week 2008.


Welcome to the second annual Sailing Regatta at beautiful Magnetic Island off Townsville in tropical North Queensland. The event will run from Friday 5th to Tuesday 9th September 2008 and is running under the auspices of the Townsville Cruising Yacht Club.

With the success of last year behind them organisers have vowed to create an even more exciting regatta including more activities available to build the atmosphere of the regatta.
