Emirates Team NZ ran away with the first two-boat match race in over a week, over Luna Rossa, albeit on a reduced winning margin.

Soon after the start of the third leg, Emirates Team NZ lost her jib and ran the remainder of the race on mainsail only, and still increased their lead over Luna Rossa.
