Lipton Cup Regatta on Port Phillip preview

The 17th and 18th November 2012 sees the annual Lipton Cup Regatta to be held on Port Phillip. This event is a great lead in for those who wish to go ocean racing during the Christmas season. With the standard Divisions A-D, there is also divisions for OTB classes, cruisers and sportsboats. Additionally there are classes for Sydney 38, Noelex 25, Diamonds, S80 and Bluebirds.

For the main divisions racing will be over three races on the Saturday, followed by a passage race on the Sunday. After race entertainment will be held at the organisers HQ at the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria at Williamstown. The OTB sections will be run by Williamstown Sailing Club.
