Lifestyle Marine, from Lake Macquarie, one Australia’s leading marine retailers owned and operated by the Hurt Family for 64 years and 3 generations, has taken its largest stand ever at this year's Sydney International Boat Show. And it has paid off. Damien Hurt, MD says the company paid off its stand from sales on the first day of the show.
'This year’s Sydney International Boat Show is our biggest display ever with a large range of boats on display at stand 307 in Hall 3 from Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, Zodiac inflatable’s and Archer plate aluminium while on the Marina we will display 7 boats from Sea Ray and Boston Whaler,' says Damien.
In a worldwide release, Lifestyle Marine will display Sea Ray's all new 190 Sport bowrider. 'This is the first time this boat has been seen anywhere in the world,' says Damien. 'It is an all new shape that looks fast standing still, yet still has that legendary Sea Ray finish, quality and rough water performance. The fact that Sea Ray one of the world’s largest and most respected boat manufacturers has chosen the Sydney International Boat Show for a world release and Lifestyle Marine as the world’s first dealer to display the new 190 Sport is a great accolade for the event organisers and Lifestyle Marine.'
Also on show, a great range of the legendary Boston Whaler. 'This will be the first Sydney International Boat Show for a long time where you can see some of the smaller Boston Whalers, with a 15 Montauk and a 17 Sport on display,' comments Damien.
Lifestyle Marine will also display the new 220 Outrage centre console and 255 Conquest walk around and the mighty 345 Conquest powered by TRIPPLE 275hp Mercury Verado Supercharged 4-strokes.
Sydney International Boat Show has not seen a display of Zodiacs, the world’s number one inflatable brand, this thorough for many years. 'We will have a great range of smaller tenders as well as a number of RIB’s big and small from the Yachtline Deluxe, Pro and Medline ranges,' says Damien, who has recently taken on NSW distributorship for Zodiac RIBs.
Another first is the exhibition of the Archer Plate Aluminium range. 'For the first time at Sydney International Boat Show, we have the 63 and 68 Cabin models on display. These boats come from Telwater manufacturer of Stacer, Quintrex and Savage aluminium boats, the hulls are very rugged with 5mm plate bottom, 4mm sides and checker plate floors and have a rough water ride that has to be experienced to be believed thanks to a 20 degree dead rise and a very fine bow entry. For great offshore fishability at a reasonable price they are hard to beat.'
By Saturday, Damien was confident of making six or more sales during the show, with more leads to follow up post-event. 'It has been incredible. We are really pleased that we put in the effort and have the presence here this year. It's a great start to the summer season.'
