Today we had adverse weather conditions, weak wind was blowing with force of 5m/s also from time to time it was raining. However all planed races were finished. The first race was between Peter Wibroe, (DEN) and Rafal Sawicki (POL), Wibroe defeated his opponent and scored first point of Toyota Sopot Match Race 2008 ISAF Grade 1. Because every point counts, most matches today were quite close, and some quite contentious. The best example of these would have to be between - Przemek Tarnacki, (POL) and Eric Monnin, (SUI) as well as 'fight' between Keith Swinton (AUS) and Torvar Mirsky (AUS) The official opening ceremony of Toyota Match Race 2008 ISAF Grade 1 took place at 8.00 p.m.

There is possibility to watch crews as they work on decks via wireless cameras installed on boats and follow exact position with GPS system. Check http://83.238.13.58/ for more.
