Because every point counts, most matches today were quite close, and some quite contentious. The best example of these would have to be between - Przemek Tarnacki, (POL) and Eric Monnin, (SUI) as well as 'fight' between Keith Swinton (AUS) and Torvar Mirsky (AUS) The official opening ceremony of Toyota Match Race 2008 ISAF Grade 1 took place at 8.00 p.m.
