Today was the final day of measuring for the 2012 World Youth 470 Championships being sailed at Takapuna, Auckland, New Zealand.

The 33 competitors from 13 countries were completing measurement today and preparing for the Practice race tomorrow afternoon - weather permitting. A short, sharp front is due to pass through the race area tomorrow from noon through the afternoon.

Off Takapuna Beach today, Emirates Team NZ were training using their two wingsailed SL33's. Next week when the Worlds are well underway, the AC45's from Emirates Team NZ will be practicing, for the early part of the week and then racing together later in the week.
