ISAF approved offshore personal safety course May 3-4, 2014 RHYC

ISAF approved offshore personal safety course - There will be a two-day ISAF approved offshore safety course on Saturday and Sunday May 3rd and fourth at the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club. The training days will run 9am -5pm on Saturday and 9am-5pm on Sunday with the pool session scheduled from 5 -7pm on the Saturday.

The course curriculum includes practical training with flares as well as an in-water life-raft training session. Full course information is available at the following link: www.seasurvival.ca. Tuition is $440 +hst per person and includes all training materials but does not include lunches. This course is mandatory for many international offshore racing events and highly recommended for local offshore racers and cruisers.

Participants receive an ISAF offshore safety certificate valid for five years for offshore racing. Spaces are limited to a maximum of twenty participants and early registration is highly recommended. Registration is through the RHYC website at Lake Ontario Offshore Racing website
