IRC Canadian Championship at RCYC

by Lake Ontario IRC Executive Committee on 22 Jun 2013

The IRC Canadian Championship is quickly heading for a record registration of forty boats for the event this weekend. Please check with the LORC website to download the SI's and ensure you know what division your are sailing in and what your backstay flag colour will be. Flags will be available at the RCYC Sailing Office on Saturday morning and John Crawley will have a supply of flags of all colours with him on our course RC boat.

You will not be disqualified for not having a backstay flag but we highly recommend that all owners make every effort to obtain one. As we are likely to have multiple divisions in each start for at least the first sequence each day it makes identifying who you are sailing against a little easier and it helps the race committee as well. Our backstay flags are free of charge again this year courtesy of Brian Chapman and UK Halsey Sailmakers in Toronto.

IRC Lake Ontario wishes to express its gratitude for their continued support of our IRC fleet. We would also like to acknowledge the contribution of the Lake Ontario Racing Council for their outstanding work in scheduling, administration and communication. We thank Wendy Loat, John Crawley and the LORC organization for their continued support of our IRC fleet. You can find everything you need to know about IRC Lake Ontario here.
