That’s right, the 2013 Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show is now less than 8 weeks away!

The show, which will feature even more prizes and attractions than usual, will take place at the ASB Showgrounds in Greenlane Auckland on May 16-19. Mark these dates in your diary (or on your phone/tablet/computer) because you will not want to miss the chance to win some of our great prizes….

prize boat.jpg$100,000 Stabicraft/Yamaha package will be won!

Everybody who buys an entry ticket to the show, either at the gate or on line (see below), has the chance to go in the draw for this incredible “must-be-won” prize boat!

The prize consists of a just released Stabicraft 2100 Supercab, powered by Yamaha’s latest 200hp 4-cylinder 4-stroke outboard and a host of great extras.

The new 2100 Supercab is a stunning 6.4-metre hardtop and features Stabicraft’s new technology Game Chaser Transom and Arrow Pontoons. By adding more displacement and buoyancy at the stern, these make the Supercab safer and easier to back down, for example when fighting a big fish.

The newly profiled pontoon design also produces an even softer ride and the new transom showcases Stabicraft’s versatile new fold-up seats. When “up” these give unimpeded access to the very rear of the boat and to the sides; when “down” they provide both a handy spot on which to rest, as well as easy access to the boarding platform.

Add in a large capacity fuel tank (250 litres), an extra large live bait tank, a rear boarding ladder, washdown kit, starboard windscreen wiper and a stunning metallic gold finish and this is one very special family fishing boat.

prize boat1.jpgIt is also powered by a very special new outboard. The latest addition to Yamaha’s powerful 4-stroke line up, the incredible new 200hp 4-cylinder F200 weighs in at just 227kg: an astonishing 56 kg less than the V6 F200, a mere 6 kg more than Yamaha’s super-powerful two-stroke 200hp HPDI and is even an amazing 1 kg less than their popular F150.

With its 2.8-litre, 16-valve DOHC powerhead, sophisticated valve train design and Variable Camshaft Timing System, the new F200 delivers market-leadingly quick, responsive acceleration, a super-strong mid-range punch, comes with a powerful 50-amp alternator (delivering 13 percent more charging power than even Yamaha’s V6 F200) and Yamaha's Variable Trolling RPM Switch (VTS).

This incredible prize boat also comes with a Furuno GP1870F, complete with Airmar P66 transducer and New Zealand charts, an Uniden Oceanus VHF radio and aerial, a FUSION IP600 head unit and four 6-inch marine speakers.

And, as a final touch, the Stabicraft/Yamaha prize boat will also feature a Hutchwilco safety package, consisting of four Mariner lifejackets and a flare pack, and a year’s worth of Club Marine insurance.

AND THE BEST PART is all you have to do to have a chance of winning this great prize is come to the show, get your entry ticket stamped at the various stamping booths around the show, fill in your contact details, answer a simple question and place your completed ticket in the Entry Box (situated right alongside this magnificent prize boat).

Then cross your fingers and wait for the call on Sunday evening.... one lucky show visitor WILL own this boat on Monday, May 20.

Now, wouldn’t that be nice…
