Hog's Breath & Joico Big Boat regatta's down to the wire
by News Editor on 17 Aug 2000
The Sydney 38 Nationals being sailed out of Airlie Beach in the Hog's
Breath series are still anyones to win with BlowFly, E-business & 38
Degrees South scrapping hard for glory.
Over at Hayman, in the Joico Big Boat series, Jim Richardson's Farr 40
Barking Mad had a great day yesterday, in difficult and flukey
conditions. As a result three boats are now battling for second behind
Ausmaid under IMS scoring.
Zoe, Barking Mad & Sword of Orion are equal and the distance race,
expected to be rounding the Double Rocks off the northeastern tip of
Hook Island will be intense.
Aspect Computing is well clear of the fleet under PHS as is Heaven Can
Wait under IRC.
Sail-World will again be tracking the Big Boat fleet with the StarTrack
units on each boat, so site visitors will be following progress from
10am today on sail-world.com
