Flying Fifteens at Latrobe City Sauna Sail

Flying Fifteen Victorian State Titles - La Trobe City Sauna Sail 2012 Steb Fisher
Latrobe City Sauna Sail 2012 will be the final round in Flying Fifteen Victoria’s year-long traveller series to be held over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend 9-11 June. The previous regatta for the traveller’s series held at Mordialloc Sailing Club also happened to be the Victorian State Championships, running seven races in varied wind conditions.

A number of boats headed for Sauna Sail showed form at the state championships with multiple state and National Champions the Rainey Brothers sailing ‘Where the Bloody Hell Are You?’ finishing the series with a win in race seven; past State Champions Dale Collings and Glenn Scheen in the ‘Aussie Falcon’ will be fighting for the overall title in the travellers series after a successful trip to the Flying Fifteen World Championships in Hayling Island UK during the Aussie winter.
