Volvo Ocean Race - A estudante e modelo Laura Lopes sempre chama atenção por onde passa. Ela é Miss Santa Catarina, bonita, simpática, tem 1,80 m - com uma plataforma chega a quase 2 m - e radical. Laura Lopes aceitou o desafio de subir no mastro do barco Dongfeng Race Team, barco chinês da Volvo Ocean Race. A ação marcou a estreia da nova peça, recém instalada para a próxima etapa da Volta ao Mundo. Com auxílio de rapel, a miss foi içada até o topo do mastro e fez um selfie.

'Foi uma emoção muito grande. Nunca tinha feito nada parecido, mas fiz questão de vir para dar sorte à equipe do Dongfeng para a próxima etapa', disse Laura Lopes. 'Os velejadores fazem isso durante a navegação, com o barco andando. Deve ser muito mais radical'.

A Miss Santa Catarina ainda visitou a base da equipe na Vila da Regata de Itajaí e tirou fotos com todos os integrantes do time.
