Sydney Hobart 2014 The Cutting edge Formula 1 yacht still leads

Ken Read talks down Comanche's chances in the Rolex Sydney Hobart. The Comanche skipper was in fine form in this video interview.

'On the first night, will there will be too much upwind to be able to send it? It absolutely plays on my mind as the skipper this boat is untested.

'We’re completely cutting edge, and when it's cutting edge it’s a Formula 1 race car that blows up its engine on the first lap.

Well they are almost thru the first lap and at last check they were off Batemans Bay still clinging to a one mile lead ahead of seven times line honours race winner Wild Oats XI, so we are looking forward to laps two, three and four!!!

Grab some coffee or a Tassie Beer and watch this very well credentialled skipper with his pre-race angle on Comanche's chances in this fascinating blue water race.
