Unfortunately, due to extreme weather conditions, and in order to preserve the boats and the security of the participants, this regatta was cancelled. This bad weather gave everybody more time to adjust their Grand Surprise boats.
At the same time, the race village, at the harbor 'Les Minimes', provided to everybody, hot beverages and plenty of food.
The opening ceremony has been the opportunity for everyone to gather and share his experience. The official SYWoC Trophy has been returned by Euromed Management that claimed ready to defend the Cup again this year.
Regatta starts tomorrow with two windward-leeward races scheduled and everybody is focused on the main goal: becoming the next World Champion.
