Menorca 52 Super Series Sailing Week – Looking to end on a high note
Fleet did sail the first upwind and a downwind of a new course format which is being trialled in advance of next season After a conventional upwind leg of around two miles there follows a long downwind of around four miles with a gate midway down the leg which brings the fleet back together.

HYS One Ton Cup – Preview
Winners of the Cup include many legends in the sport of sailing; Syd Fischer, Harold Cudmore, Henrik Soderlund The 2017 edition is hosted by the Royal Yacht Squadron, Cowes, and presented by Hamble Yacht Services and supported by Grapefruit Graphics, Premier Composite Technologies, TT Rigging, Diverse Yachts and North Sails. GC32 Orezza Corsica Cup– Sébastien and Team Engie finish on the podium
Bouncing back at the end of the final day with 48 points, Team Engie finished third behind Realteam and Argo. On the final day, the provisional overall ranking was overturned when Malizia’s efforts went up in smoke after a high-speed collision with a buoy. Taking advantage of this mistake, Realteam, Argo and Team Engie finished first, second and third respectively.

GAC Pindar win M32 Series Scandinavia for second consecutive year
British crew kicked off the regatta showing they were here to do the business, taking four back-to-back wins on day one. With GAC Pindar the only team not to catch a last place finish over the event, consistent results were clearly the key to success over the 16 race event. Even with some poor starts on day two, Williams and crew managed to pull it back every time as fans cheered the team picking their way up through the fleet.

RS Aeros Autumn Regatta at Langener Waldsee
The Saturday brought only very weak and irregular wind and the regatta team could only make one start attempt. After 30 minutes, however, this race had to be canceled because of the doldrums. The Sunday brought only a little better wind. The wind remained constant and one race was completed and scored.
