Lancement officiel du concours Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image 2014

Le photographe américain Abner Kingman est parvenu à saisir le moment précis lors duquel Oracle Team USA a dépassé Emirates Team New Zealand, tandis que ce dernier manquait de chavirer; le moment clé de la dernière America’s Cup. Initié en 2009, le Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image est le principal concours de photographie au monde consacré à la voile en tant que sport de compétition. Le prestigieux trophée sera remis lors du World Yacht Racing Forum à Barcelone, le 11 Décembre 2014.

Afin de participer, les photographes doivent s'inscrire et soumettre dès aujourd’hui (et jusqu’au 26 octobre) leur meilleure image de régate prise en 2014, à l'adresse suivante: ici.

Le concours est ouvert aux photographes professionnels. Le règlement détaillé est disponibles sur le site Web de l'événement.

Deux prix seront à nouveau décernés: Le Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image, choisi par le jury international, et le «Prix du public», déterminé par le nombre de votes sur le site Internet puis par les participants du World Yacht Racing Forum.

Les photos seront affichées sur le site Web de l'événement le 1er Novembre, permettant au public de voter. Les 20 meilleurs photos seront ensuite imprimées et exposées au World Yacht Racing Forum, où les délégués choisiront le lauréat du «Prix du public».

Le vainqueur recevra le trophée tant convoité, ainsi qu’une magnifique montre Zenith El Primero Chronomaster 1969. Des machines à café Nespresso édition limitée seront par ailleurs distribuées.
