Grâce à la nouvelle application officielle de la Volvo Ocean Race, les fans de la course pourront emmener l’épreuve la plus dure au monde partout avec eux. Développée aussi bien pour IOS que pour Android, l’appli est disponible sur l’App store ainsi que sur Google Play Now.

Vidéo Une chaîne exclusive digitale « Life at the Extreme TV », proposera des contenus en direct du QG à Alicante et des 10 autres villes-étapes, partout dans le monde, ainsi que les meilleures vidéos de la course.

Carto Les fans pourront suivre la progression de la flotte avec précision. Lors des suivis live, les positions seront actualisées toutes les 10 secondes ! Par ailleurs, la mise en place d’un système de notifications via email ou SMS permettra aux utilisateurs de ne pas rater une miette de ce marathon de 38 739 milles nautiques qui durera neuf mois.

Info Des informations détaillées sur les équipes ainsi que sur le parcours seront mises à disposition des utilisateurs pour leur permettre de comprendre tout ce qui rend cette course aussi spéciale !

Les sept équipages sont maintenant basés à Alicante dans l’attente de la course In-port qui sera disputée le 4 octobre et du départ vers Cape Town, une semaine plus tard. L’appli sera le meilleur outil pour permettre aux fans de la course de rester informés H24 et sept jours sur sept.
