2015 Formula 18 World Championship – After two days of measuring, Barraud and his team completed measurement on 160 boats. Thanks to the perfect coordination and the appointment system everything went very smooth. No rush, just only smiles!
On Monday at 11:00 the first sailors briefing was held. Everybody is ready for a final test before the Worlds officially will start on Tuesday. The Race Committee, Jury, Management and, of course, all sailors are ready and will be out on the water at 15:00 for a practice race.
Monday evening at 18:30, there will be a flag parade in the Kiel marina followed by the official opening ceremony and sailors dinner at 19:00.
The Formula 18 Worlds 2015 will be held at the Kiel Yacht Club – Germany from 11th till 18th of July. Almost 200 catamarans signed up fort his event and will be the biggest Formula 18 fleet ever. More information about Formula 18 sailing can be found on the official
