Countdown to the St Barths Bucket Regatta

by Perini Navi on 1 Mar 2017
Perini Navi 56m S/Y Rosehearty – St Barths Bucket Regatta Perini Navi http://www.perininavi.it
From 16-19 March, more than 40 superyachts will descend on the pristine island of St Barths in the Caribbean for the 30th edition of the St Barths Bucket Regatta.

Among them will be seven stunning Perini Navi sailing yachts: P2 (38m), Aquarius (46m), Bayesian (56m), Rosehearty (56m), Perseus^3 (60m), Zenji (56m) and The Maltese Falcon (88m).

A fixture on the yachting calendar, the St Barths Bucket is an invitation only event for sailing yachts over 100ft in length, hosted by four stewards, of which Perini Navi is one.

Founded in 1983, Perini Navi has been designing and building superyachts for more than three decades, with a fleet of 58 sailing yachts delivered to date including S/Y Aquarius. A classic Perini, S/Y Aquarius was built in 1990 and her new owner will be participating for the first time in this prestigious event.

The magic in St Barths takes place both on and off the water, when the owners and crews fill the yacht haven before and after racing, with the special Yacht Hop taking place on the Saturday evening. In keeping with the tradition, Perini Navi will host owners and guests at Casa Perini for memorable evenings overlooking Gustavia throughout the week.

The entire fleet will compete to take home the ‘Bucket’ trophy. While the stunning silver Perini Navi trophy will also be presented to the best classified Perini Navi competing in St Barths, won in 2016 by the talented crew onboard P2.
