O primeiro dia de regatas do 66º Campeonato Brasileiro da Classe Snipe, nesta terça-feira (27), foi concluído da melhor maneira possível. Logo pela manhã foram realizadas as duas provas programadas, sob bons ventos de até 10 nós e com boas disputas. O belo trabalho executado pela equipe técnica do evento, comandada por Carlos Eduardo Sodré, impediu qualquer surpresa e os favoritos logo se destacaram entre a flotilha com mais de setenta barcos.

Na primeira regata, com largada pouco depois das 9h sob bandeira Uniform, três barcos foram desclassificados por largarem escapados e ao final das cinco pernas do percurso barla-sota a chegada foi dominada pela família Paradeda. Alexandre Paradeda / Lucas Aydos e Roberto Paradeda / Lucas Mazim, ambos dos Clube dos Jangadeiros, conquistaram o primeiro e segundo lugares respectivamente. Na terceira colocação ficou a dupla carioca Maurício Santa Cruz / Alexandre Muto, do Iate Clube do Rio de Janeiro.

Em seguida foi disputada a segunda prova, com largada sob bandeira preta e desta vez sem nenhum barco escapado. Desta vez quem dominou a regata foi a dupla Alexandre Tinoco / Alex Sandro, do Clube de Regatas Guanabara / Iate Clube Icaraí, após um discreto décimo terceiro lugar na primeira prova. Em segundo ficou a dupla Maurício Santa Cruz e, em terceiro, a dupla Alexandre Paradeda / Lucas Aydos. Resultados que colocaram Xandi e Lucas na liderança do evento com apenas quatro pontos perdidos. Para esta quarta-feira (28) estão programadas mais duas provas e, as 18h, será realizada a assembleia geral da classe.

O 66º Campeonato Brasileiro da Classe Snipe, disputado no Iate Clube de Brasília entre 23 e 31 de janeiro, tem apoio da CBVela, North Sails, Ocean Blue e NautiSpecial.
