Bavaria Baltic Weekend – Learning and relaxing on the Baltic Sea Bavaria Yachtbau
On 2 and 3 September, Bavaria Yachts is inviting all Bavaria owners, Bavaria fans and enthusiasts to the Bavaria Baltic Weekend at the Hohe Düne residence on the Baltic Sea.

Over the weekend, as well as being able to view many of Bavaria Yachts’ yachts, visitors will also be able to take part in numerous activities and training courses. Catamaran sailing courses on a Nautitech 40 Open are then just as likely to be on the programme as port manoeuvres on sailing yachts and motor boats, and a number of workshops on sail and rig trimming and navigation. After so much learning and training, anyone needing to relax can do so in the wellness spa in the exquisite Yachthafenresidenz Hohe Düne hotel, where they can also stay the night.

Bavaria Baltic Weekend – The programme

Catamaran sailing training – not just for women: The famous round-the-world sailor Mareike Guhr will show you how to best handle a cruising catamaran on a Nautitech 40 Open. The 3-hour training course will deal with how to trim a sail correctly, tricks for steering a catamaran and, of course, manoeuvring safely in port. The catamaran sailing course on Saturday is reserved exclusively for female catamaran sailors. The course on Sunday is for everyone who would like to learn more about handling a catamaran.

Port manoeuvres on sailing yachts and motor boats – stress-free manoeuvring: Many of you will know Richard Jeske from his presentations at boat shows. In Warnemünde, the passionate sailing teacher will present tips and tricks for easy manoeuvring in port. Under the guidance of Richard Jeske, participants can go on board to learn to moor and cast off or to expand their existing knowledge.

Sail and rig trimming and navigation workshops – getting there quickly and safely: During the Bavaria Baltic Weekend, the so-called boatshed in the grounds of the Yachthafenresidenz Hohe Düne is not just a central event venue, it’s also the location for numerous workshops for sailing yacht and motorboat skippers. How to trim your rig properly and what information your chart plotter can provide are just two of the workshops during this weekend. More workshops can be found in the programme on the Bavaria Yachts website.

Enjoy luxury and wellness – arrive with your own boat or by car: Anyone can take part in the Bavaria Baltic Weekend, regardless of whether they arrive by car or in their own yacht. On 2 and 3 September, all Bavaria owners can dock in the 5-star marina free of charge and are, of course, invited to the Bavaria Baltic VIP Night on the Saturday. Owners will receive a voucher after registering online or through their participating dealer. Bavaria Yachts in collaboration with the Yachthafenresidenz Hohe Düne has put together a very special offering for anyone arriving by car. Overnight stay and wellness spa at the Bavaria Yachts preferential rate. More information can be obtained from any participating Bavaria dealer.
