Azzurra ready to face 11 competitors at Audi Settimana delle Bocche
Azzurra is ready in Porto Cervo for the beginning of the second event in the 52 Super Series 2016 set to start tomorrow. Azzurra is defending champion in the 52 Super Series and has to recover points on Quantum, the team that won the first event of the Series held last month in Scarlino, Tuscany.

Solitaire Bompard Le Figaro – Cherry up with the cream on Devon Coast
The solo skippers have to work hard because the gusty southwesterly breeze is so irregular, oscillating back and forth. Nicolas Lunven (Generali) the overall race winner in 2009 held the lead in the 0500hrs position report this morning, but as the leaders pass Exmouth the most inshore pair, Gildas Morvan (Cercle Vert) and Yoann Richomme (Skipper Macif 2014) have made a small gain and lead by just over one nautical mile.

Clipper Race – Will there be successful North Atlantic escape artist?
The winds started lightening yesterday, and boat speeds are low today in the fluky airs at around the halfway race mark. ClipperTelemed+ is now leading the fleet again, with former race leader Derry~Londonderry~Doire in second and LMAX Exchange in third after coming out of Stealth Mode as it attempted to bluff the other teams regarding going for the Scoring Gate.

Superyacht Cup ends spectacularly after 3 days of hair-raising action
An exhilarating event which perfectly mixes fun times with fierce racing in the Mediterranean's popular superyacht haunt P2, with three bullets to her name, was the undisputed winner in Class B. In classic Class D it was the gleaming Herreshoff designed Mariette of 1915 who, also with a perfect score of three firsts, championed.

Rio 2016 - 49erFX Olympic Nomination Appeal dismissed by CAS
Court of Arbitration for Sport has declined to uphold an Appeal over the non-selection of a crew in the 49erFX skiff To the surprise of no-one, Australian Sailing have been able to get their 'medal capable' or 'medal potential' Olympic Selection policy upheld by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Earlier, the Australian national sailing body had elected not to select a crew in the women's 49erFX skiff, triggering the Appeal from the top-ranked crew of Tessa LLoyd and Caitlin Elks.
