Transat Jacques Vabre – Erwan et Giancarlo ont franchi ligne d’arrivée

C’est à 11h59 (heure de Paris), ce mercredi 11 novembre, qu’Erwan Le Roux et Giancarlo Pedote ont franchi la ligne d’arrivée de la 12e édition de la Transat Jacques Vabre.

Les deux co-skippers de FenêtréA-Prysmian, qui ont bouclé les 5 400 milles théoriques du parcours entre le Havre et Itajaí en 16 jours 22 heures, 29 minutes et 13 secondes, ont ainsi décroché la victoire dans la catégorie des Multi50, mais se sont également offert le luxe de terminer troisièmes au scratch derrière les Ultimes Macif et Sodebo. Le duo franco-italien a donc rempli haut la main son objectif. De fait, pour Giancarlo, c’est une entrée réussie dans le monde des multicoques et pour Erwan c’est un immense succès qui le fait rejoindre Franck Cammas, Jean-Pierre Dick et Frank-Yves Escoffier dans le cercle très fermé des triples vainqueurs de l’épreuve. Chapeau les gars !
