2015 Ilhabela Sailing Week - O veleiro gaúcho Camiranga, um moderno Soto 65, cruzou a linha de chegada às 18:20:03, mas passou pelo ponto de registro as 18:09:03, com isso estabeleceu uma nova marca de 6h 04min 03s e bateu o recorde da Regata Alcatrazes por Boreste - Marinha do Brasil.

A prova, com 60 milhas náuticas (110 km), abriu a 42a. Ilhabela Sailing Week e tinha como marca anterior a do barco argentino Cusi 5, de 6h 12min 29s, obtida em 2009 com a Comissão de Regatas posicionada cerca de duas milhas mais ao Sul em relação a local da chegada deste ano.

Este sábado (04/07) em si foi especial. Após uma véspera de quase nada de vento o dia prometia ser mais agitado. A previsão do tempo acertou ao indicar a chegada de uma frente fria no início da tarde, com rajadas acima dos 20 nós. Logo pela manhã a aproximação de nuvens carregadas pelo lado de São Sebastião chamava a atenção, junto com o vento SW que a essa altura predominava, inicialmente com rajadas de média intensidade que não passavam dos 15 nós. Em alguns momentos da regata as rajadas se aproximaram dos 30 nós.

As condições de vento e mar, que perduraram por quase todo o tempo, foram ingredientes que por pouco colocaram em risco a quebra do recorde mas que ao mesmo tempo favoreceu outra marca. Há muitos anos não haviam tantas desistências, por exemplo, apenas 33 barcos concluíram a regata Alcatrazes por Boreste, e o último barco cruzava a linha de chegada tão cedo, no caso o veleiro Magaratz, a 01:12:10 da madrugada de domingo.
