Kayakers will soon be able to get out more often and make the most of their time on the water, with all the convenience of being able to store your boats, securely and adjacent to one of the most picturesque and protected locations on the northside.

Living around Sydney Harbour has its advantages: crisp, clear mornings, year round mild (enough) weather, and the sheer elation of getting out on the water.

At The Spit, d’Albora Marinas is building a kayak storage rack and stack facility – the first of its kind to offer absolute access to Middle Harbour and its innumerable protected bays and coves which make it a kayaker’s paradise.

The new d’Albora rack and stack system will house 40 kayaks in individual security
compartments with easy access to a purpose built gangway leading onto a launching
pontoon.

If you’ve put off taking up kayaking because of the hassle of lugging around the
equipment, now’s the time to get into it! For less than the cost of gym membership and many times the benefits in the form of incredible scenery, camaraderie a great all over workout, you can stack and store your kayak and simply walk away ‘til next time.

Park your car, walk to your own secure rack and launch your kayak straight into the water in a matter of minutes. Spend more time on the water, since the fuss and bother of lugging your wet kayak back to your car will no longer hamper you. Just stow and lock up your boat and you’re off!

Construction of stage one commences in July and the facility is due for completion in time for spring. Spaces are limited and expected to fill fast, so get in now.
