Noonsite launches new weather forum

'Noonsite - more sunshine for your next cruising route'    .
The world's very popular informational website for long distance cruising sailors, Noonsite, has just launched a new service for long-range cruisers wanting global weather and routing advice.

The new 'Weather and Routing Forum' has a double mission of providing information, but also allowing the discussion of weather and routing advice so that sailors' own experiences can be shared around the world. With ten years' experience in assisting cruisers with their varied queries, Noonsite is moving to this more complicated addressing of sailors' needs.

'We are delighted to have this new service for our readers,' commented noonsite.com editor Sue Richards. 'The noonsite.com routing pages, although a huge help to cruisers wanting advice, are no longer enough for the detailed questions we receive, so the forum will enable answers and information to be shared more easily, and for cruisers around the world to contribute from their own experiences and knowledge.'

She continued 'The new forums are shared with our parent site - www.worldcruising.com - so that all noonsite.com users can benefit from the shared experiences of the ARC and other rallies.'

Noonsite was originally the brainchild of veteran sailor and founder of the ARC Atlantic Rally for Cruisers, Jimmy Cornell, who created the World Cruising Club to run the rallies.

After a management buyout of the World Cruising Club, the club owners then went on to purchase Noonsite from Cornell, who had returned to sailing and to the writing of his many books on cruising.

When thinking about long range voyaging, savvy sailors will do well by using Noonsite as their first point of reference.
