Maritimo Offshore commenced their exhibition at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show with the much-anticipated launch of two revolutionary yachts, one carrying a price tag of $2.15 million. The M58 Motoryachts and the Mustang 43 sports cruiser were unveiled to the world Thursday to a packed cabin full of experienced boater and prospective buyers. 'These two boats, I think, will over the next year be our best sellers,' said Bill Barry-Cotter, Maritimo’s owner and founder.

The results are two brand new models redesigned from the ground-up. 'I think in this market we have really just got to do more and more new models and more and more innovation to really give the buyer a reason to change the boat he has got and really to look at ours rather than something that has been there for five or ten years,' said Barry-Cotter. The $2.15 million M58 proved the focal point of the launch, sporting a sleek exterior design coupled with glamorous, yet functional interior accommodations. Compete with three cabins and an 18.7m enclosed flybridge with a second saloon, this ‘boatie’s boat’ features a full-beam master stateroom, en suite, chaise lounge and make-up vanity or study.
 | Entertaining guests is made simple in the teak laid cockpit with the use of a barbeque and dining table designed to accommodate six - Sarah Ruggiero Click Here to view large photo | Marketing Director Luke Durman described the M58 as 'a home on the water', with Maritimo expanding the current lifestyle associated with luxury yachting. According to Durman, entertaining guests is made simple in the teak laid cockpit with the use of a barbeque and dining table designed to accommodate six. Aside from the brand new interior, the M58 is powered by twin 800hp Volvo Penta D13 diesel shaft drives with 3850lt fuel capacity, providing customers with the best fuel efficiency in its class. 'We are getting better fuel figures on this boat than we were getting on a boat one third lighter a year ago,' said Barry-Cotter. 'We are really happy with the break through and that will eventually lead into some more new models as well.' In addition to the M58, Maritimo’s Mustang 43 sports cruiser redefines luxury family sailing. With a mid-market base price of $695,000, the M43 provides consumers with a more affordable option without sacrificing the impressive designs or customer satisfaction associated with Maritimo. Focusing more on cockpit entertaining and less on accommodations down below, the M43 features three spacious cabins and one of the largest cockpits in its class. The innovative open-plan design features alfresco seating, European appliances and state of the art navigation. 'The 43 is a real new innovation for us,' said Barry-Cotter. 'The boat tested amazingly well so we are very happy with that and we think that will complete both here and in particularly in the US we see a good market for it and the other one is the boat we are on.' Powered by twin diesel shaft drive engines and reaching a top speed of 31.5 knots, the M43 consumes 128 litres an hour, making it one of the most fuel-efficient yachts in its market. Compared with the M48, the M43 allows consumers to partake in the Maritime lifestyle without breaking the bank. It’s this affordable, yet luxurious experience that Barry-Cotter ensured consumers and admirers alike that Maritimo is serious about delivering. 'That’s what we are aiming for,' said Barry-Cotter. 'We are quite positive at the moment.' Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show website
