Product of the Week: Quick-release line guides for continuous furlers

'Wouldn’t it be easy if these were all quick-release?'    .

Continuous furlers are a wonderful invention, but what if you don't want the sail on the boat all the time? Colligo Marine has introduced a new quick release line guide for continuous drive lines on roller furlers which is a time saving bonanza.

Quick release line guide -  .. .
This quick opening line guide allows you to keep continuous furler drive lines with the furler when removing them from the boat. No need to get fairleads spliced into the line anymore.

Just install these on your deck or stanchions and you can quickly remove your furling lines when stowing your code zero, screecher, or spinnaker sail.

The product is manufactured from Aircraft Grade Delrin, meaning it will not rust or oxidize, - or react galvanically with Carbon.

The product uses a tethered quick pin for easy release of furler drive lines, and can be bolted or glued. Use up to 1/4 inch countersunk machine screws. It weighs 77 grams (2.7 oz) and can handle up to 1/2' (12mm) running line.

If the product is not yet available from your local marine store, you can purchase them online for around $100
